Botanical gardens and rare palm trees embellish the property which spreads over 4,5 hectares (11 acres), including 110 coconut trees, a mango grove where the rare muscatel mango grows among others, a cashew orchard along with several other fruit trees from lemons, oranges, soursops, nonis, acerolas, pitangas or the Brazilian cherry, and starfruits.
The main house located at the very center of the estate has a fully equipped American kitchen, 3 en suite bedrooms (i.e. w/full bath) with the master-bedroom attached to a large covered terrace occupying the first floor, an office w/full bath and a high-speed Internet connection, a living room, a dining room, a laundry room with storage space and a broom closet, all surrounded by wrap-around corridors with built-in tables of flowers and exotic plants. The veranda at the back of the main house faces the exotic garden designed as a maze, and in between the two, we find the large aquifer-fed swimming pool with its spacious deck and brick oven barbecue. We also have a guest-studio with a small lounge and full bath attached to the two-car garage, facing a small garden including one of our 3 baobab trees. Both dwellings come fully furnished, except for the groundskeeper's house next to the electronic gate at the entrance of the property.
It must be noted that there are two entrances to the property: the first one which stays open is right on the main road leading us to the second entrance, across a palm tree passageway with a small cashew orchard in the back of the palm trees. It is another piece of land of 2994 m2 (0.73 acres) included in this sale with its own title of property. The second entrance is a remote-controlled 7meter wide electronic gate with an electric switch in both the groundskeeper's house and the main one. Moreover, the 1200m long wall that encloses the whole property is between 1.75 to 2 m high.
The estate's electric power is three-phase, 220 volts, and the power lines are buried underground.
There are 4 artesian wells, including a 60 m deep well which fills the pool regularly to then irrigate the property, thereby avoiding the usage of chlorine and other chemicals in the pool. Three of the wells are functioning, the other two besides the deep one mentioned above are 24-meter and 12-meter deep, and the fourth one would need to be dug to find the new water level since the rains are still going strong despite the fact that the rain season ends in June normally.
There is a two-stall horse barn next to the corral in the back of the property, and a kennel.
The estate was at one point a successful palm tree business under the first owner and original builder -we are the second owners- and today it is pretty much ready to sell both flowers and palm trees. In talking about selling, we do sell mangoes, coconuts and more throughout the year, but it's a small revenue.
Aromatherapy is also another good venture, which would need to be developed, since we have 7 cananga trees (ylang-ylang), and several species of jasmin including and among others, the Arabian jasmin (jasminum sambac in latin or Flor do Bugari in Portuguese).
Lastly, we are selling our beautiful property in Brazil due to our impending divorce.
