The wood store is the second house and the third property is a mixed house with workshop and guest room without wet room. ➤ The main house has various heating options, be it via a modern air/air heat pump, the colossal soapstone stove or the electric underfloor heating. The furnishings are partly new and the decor is very stylish. → Not included in the purchase price are 2 newer snowmobiles for use in winter to explore the area. However, these can be purchased separately on request. → TV and B+O stereo system, router (without SIM card), new induction stove, fridge/freezer combination, fire-powered sauna, own fresh water source (best drinking water), hot water preparation, washing machine, ventilation system, large veranda, garden with various berries, sea buckthorn and many strawberry bushes, etc., nothing is missing! With the large and fenced free run for dogs, the stay is also a great pleasure for dog owners. → The property can be visited with pleasure, a friendly family is nearby (10 km). German and English, but also a few bites of Finnish. ➤ The main house has electric underfloor heating, wood-fired soapstone stove (also used for cooking or pizza baking), but also an air-to-air heat pump, whereby we heat exclusively with the soapstone stove and the heat pump. There are some empty pipes on the walls for connecting electric radiators, but we get by perfectly with the wood-burning stove. → The house also has an integrated, wood-fired sauna. There is direct access to the rear veranda via the bathroom. → The property has its own spring with water ready to drink, which is pumped into the house from the spring. The main house has an electric hot water supply and showers are available in summer and winter. → The service water runs into a 10,000 liter waste water tank, which must be emptied each time. Control nozzles for checking the water level protrude from the floor. How quickly the tank has to be pumped out always depends on the water consumption. → We do not replenish the wood supply, but what remains is automatically integrated into the sales mass. There are several firewood sellers in Kuusamo, but I cut and process our supply myself. → The house has a ventilation system, which we leave running at the lowest setting all year round to ensure a certain amount of air exchange and to prevent any moisture from spreading anywhere. → The house is a non-smoking house. → The property is laid out in such a way that there are no rights of way or similar. → Washing machine is available, dishwasher not, but could certainly be installed. This is not necessary for my wife and me. Large fridge with freezer compartment. → TV and B&O stereo system, as well as a plethora of CDs are on site. As the TV is not yet a smart TV, it cannot be connected to the laptop or similar. At best, a new purchase would be a good idea, as there aren't many programs (we weren't in Finland to watch TV) .... → The kitchen has a new induction stove, the furniture in the house is almost all new. In winter, when there is a lot of snow, we ask a neighbor (a few kilometers away) by phone in advance to clear the driveway and place of snow, of course he does not do this for free, but without clearing it is hardly possible to reach the house. → On request, the neighbor would certainly also look after things when you are away, we have solved this through acquaintances from a little further away (keeping an eye on things from time to time is never wrong). → There is also an alarm system available. → The first outbuilding is the firewood store. This has two large entrances. The large outdoor table and a few comfortable chairs are stored in the firewood store, making it more pleasant to linger on the terrace. A large parasol is also stored there. → The second outbuilding has a small workshop (not really well equipped, we hardly need it, it serves us as a large storage room...) and a guest room without a wet room and built-in heating. There is currently an electric radiator in it, which provides pleasant warmth for potential visitors. There is an outside toilet right next to the guest house. We have never used it, but it is supposed to be an alternative in the event of a power cut as there is no water available to flush the toilet. However, there have hardly been any power cuts in the last two years. → It also has a garden with almost 90 strawberry bushes, some currant and buckthorn bushes. From my point of view, I would have sacrificed this in favor of a barbecue area or even a barbecue hut, but my wife opted for the garden. → We have insured all three properties, and I would recommend this to anyone interested. There are also two snowmobiles available, but these are not included in the price.
