... and state aid of about 50,000 euros. The ownership is between 150 and 350 meters. The climate of the Zemplén Mountains is more varied and complex than in the neighboring areas and has subcarpathian characteristics. The annual precipitation is not evenly distributed and ranges from 600-700 mm in the interior of the mountains to 400-450 mm on the western side and 320-370 mm on the eastern side. The average annual temperature in the Zemplén Mountains is between 7 and 8 degrees Celsius. In summer, but especially in early winter, the mountain region is dominated by north-westerly and westerly winds, which carry the precipitation with them. As a result, the western side is wetter than the wind-protected eastern side. In winter, however, the Polish lowlands are exposed to north and north-easterly winds, which is why the first frost in the country occurs (mid-October) and lasts the longest (until the end of April). The fauna of the mountains is just as rich as the flora. Big game species include wild boar, deer, roe deer and mouflon. In recent years, wolves have been spotted in the Zemplén Mountains. The birdlife in the area is very valuable. Black woodpecker, green woodpecker and cat-thrush are common, but the emperor bird and black stork also breed here regularly. The Zemplén Mountains are a transitional area between the Carpathians and the lowlands and the Transdanubian flora. The interior of the mountains is covered by continuous forests. The predominant forest types in the Zemplén are hornbeam-oak forests, mixed beech-oak forests and beech-oak forests. The southern slopes are covered with forests of pedunculate and common oak, the property belongs to these forests. Sárospatak is a town in northern Hungary in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county. It is located almost 70 kilometers northeast of Miskolc, at the foot of the North Central Mountains, along the Bodrog River. Sárospatak is located in the Tokaj wine-growing region, not far from the Slovakian border. The population of the historic town is not large, with only 13,000 inhabitants. Sárospatak is 250 km away from Budapest (the capital). The nearby highway is 50 km. There is an asphalt road near the forests. Big cities nearby are Nyíregyháza, Miskolc, Kassa.
