The traffic accessibility is very good. It is 35 to 40 minutes to the airport and 18 kilometers to big shopping center and leather city of Inca with the biggest weekly market of the island.
Almost everywhere can be reached by regular bus connections.
Island authorities prefer the farmer's market of Sa Pobla out of all the weekly markets, because of the fresh fruit and vegetables. Sa Pobla is only approx. 8 kilometers away.
Many bigger towns are completely nearby like Sta. Margalida, Muro, Sa Pobla, Alcudia and many other municipalities.
Can Picafort is one of the favorite holiday towns in the north of the island.
Because of the tourism, there are many doctors who speak German and / or English.
In the neighboring municipality of Muro, there is another big private hospital with its own interpreters.
In the city of Inca an enormous, new and state hospital has been opened.
