Porto Alcudia, with its long sandy beach, is one of the favorite holiday area of the island. The fine-grained sandy beach drops very gently into the sea so that children can play safely on the beach. In Alcudia (the capital), there is not only good gastronomy, a bullring and many historic buildings, but also a biweekly market with fresh vegetable and a lot of junk. The mountains of la Victoria are practically before the front door. There are beautiful footpaths and a great view of Cap Formentor and the mountains of Arta. Back to the villa. You enter into the house through the entrance hall and are surprised by the spacious hall with the wide royal stairway to the mezzanine. To the right a door leads to the big garage. Autos can get in and out easily without an exterior gate. On the left it is a smaller stair down to the lower floor. This floor consists of an enormous dining room with open fire-place and the second kitchen. A WC with shower and a storeroom also exist here. The locals need this second kitchen, because in November and December they use it to prepare the black hooved pigs. Therefore the lower fire-place is somewhat spaciously designed. Near the fire-place is a bread oven. In the kitchen there are connections for a washer and hot water tank. In the entrance hall, a small hall leads to a suite on the left a bedroom with its own bathroom. In the bedroom is an installed wardrobe. In the upper floor there is a real salon with fire-place and separate dining room. This is divided by a round arch which is decorated with island-typical sandstone. An enormous fitted kitchen with separate breakfast table exists here as well. Through several glass doors you can also get to the balcony with a view of the pool and garden. Two stairs lead from the mezzanine up to three dormitories. All bedrooms are fitted out with built-in closets. The upper bathroom is very spacious with a bath tub, shower and separate WC. In the bathroom built-in closets also exist. From the bedroom one can get to the high balcony with a view of the channel of Porto Alcudia, which is rich in fish. Because there are so many fish here, there are also no flies (flies eggs are eaten by the fishes and eels). The property is fenced in by a wall with iron rods and hedges and cypresses serve to protect the property from view. In front of the house there are no parking possibilities, only behind the house. Two parking spaces belong to the house and may not be used by other drivers. The rectangular pool is surrounded by stones. The pool technology was installed just last year.
