Historic Country house-hotel in the southern Black Forest
Historic, modernized property that can be used as a dwelling-house, hotel / pension, conference building, assisted living / multi-generation house, sanatorium and more....
Development / history:
The historic building was documented earlier than 1783 and has been, since 1871, in the possession of the original family. It was originally a farmyard and then transformed into a hostel for coaches and travelers. It was later altered and used as a hotel / conference hotel. Because of the frequent use as a seminar house and the competence of the owners, the property is well-known as a meeting place in the region. In June, 2006, the building was divided spaciously into condos, 2 of which have already been sold. Using the rest of the house for its orginal use, as a guest house, could be done without any trouble.
Complex of buildings: spacious main areas and adjacent rooms, kitchen, dining area, guest room, 3 conference spaces, library, sauna, living rooms, cellar spaces, garage, as well as as a distillery with fuel for the production of spirits (300 liters pure alcohol per year). The house was transformed into its current state in 1873 and consists of a main building, a cultivated side building with cellar, ground floor, upper floor, and attic, a side building built onto the main building with the ground floor, upper floor, attic and subsequent seminar space with gallery in the attic. In the ground floor is a garage, hall and sauna area. The hotel with living rooms and seminar spaces is built in a conventional construction style from granite stone. Most window fixtures are granite. The arrangement has been modernized and kept up continually.
The building is listed as a single monument on the register of monuments and historic buildings.
Investments in buildings and enclosures from 1191-2004: development of the barn, sanitations facilities and sauna area, block combined heat and power station. There are solar panels for power production.
