| This house was the residence and working place of author Josef-Martin Bauer. The building was designed in 1936 by the architect Sep Ruf who built, among other things, the Deutsche Museum (the biggest museum of science and technology in the world) in Munich. It is stamped throughout by a smooth elegance, supplemented by the unusual room layout. In the study, still preserved today, the author read to himself. It was here that he found the inspiration for his greatest novels. Surround by a delightful garden with a well-established stock of trees, it is an oasis in the middle of today's hectic life, ideal for recovering and relaxing.
Sunny southern slope in the Dorfener residential area. Good accessibility in train and other public means of transport. 25 minutse to the airport by car, 35 minutes to Munich. The object is only approx. 5 minutes walking distance from the beautiful oldest part of the town center. |
